Summary: The GenAI Prompt Engineer Intern is a position focused on developing and refining AI-generated text prompts to enhance user experience and ensure high-quality outputs. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their careers in artificial intelligence and natural language processing, with a focus on collaborative learning and skill development. Your skills and passion can make a significant impact What you will do: Assist in Prompt Development: Support the creation and refinement of AI-generated text prompts for various applications, including chatbots, content generation, and customer support. Testing and Feedback: Participate in testing prompts and providing feedback to improve the quality and relevance of AI outputs. Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers, content creators, and product teams to understand prompt requirements and user needs. Data Monitoring: Help monitor prompt performance and assist in analyzing results to identify areas for improvement. Learning and Development: Stay informed about advancements in AI and natural language processing to enhance prompt engineering skills. Documentation: Assist in documenting prompt development processes and performance metrics. What we are looking for: Applicant must be local to the Dallas area Currently pursuing a bachelor's or mater's degree in computer science or related field. Basic Technical Skills: Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python) and basic understanding of AI tools and platforms. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. Eagerness to Learn: A willingness to learn about AI, natural language processing, and prompt engineering techniques. Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions carefully and ensure accuracy in prompt development. Problem-Solving Mindset: Basic analytical skills to assist in identifying issues and proposing solutions. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
