Description

We are seeking a Senior Cost Engineer with project controls and construction experience to lead the delivery of a large new capital investment project for an exciting and established market leader in their niche field. This is initially a 12-month contract role, and you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of a state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all cost data for the project
  • Support the development and maintenance of the project work breakdown structure
  • Develop and maintain the project cost tracking files
  • Generate month-end actual cost reports and submit monthly cash flow updates to leadership team
  • Provide monthly cost analysis to the team members relating to baseline budget, forecast, and cash flow
  • Collaborate and monitor CM project controls reporting for comprehensive accuracy
  • Manage all cost data to ensure the project meets approved thresholds for on-time delivery of budget and schedule
  • Generate monthly cost metrics for the project steering committee report and other impromptu reporting as needed
  • Compile and submit monthly project accruals
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a project controls role
  • Good experience working in a construction environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
