Voyage Healthcare is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to work in the lab department at the Osseo clinic location. This position performs moderate complexity testing and phlebotomy.

*SIGN-ON BONUS: When hired as an MLT, you are eligible for a $1,500 tiered Sign-On Bonus

Bonuses will be paid in three installments. All signing bonuses will be treated as regular income and subject to all applicable taxes. (Additional details will be provided upon offer of employment with Voyage Healthcare.)

Responsibilities:

  • Work in our COLA certified lab performing moderately complex testing
  • Perform a variety of tests in the areas of chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, and limited microbiology
  • Perform phlebotomy and collect / process specimens following appropriate collection procedures
  • Record and report each test following laboratory policy
  • Work with a team of lab personnel under the guidance of the Lab Supervisor
  • Complies with procedures and policies to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with OSHA standards
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited MLT (CLT) or MT (CLS) program required
  • ASCP certification required
  • Prior lab & clinic experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks
  • Willingness to travel to other locations if needed
