Retail Operations Manager

Overview:
As a Retail Operations Manager, you will utilize your exceptional leadership abilities to mentor, train, and inspire your team to achieve excellence while upholding our high-quality standards. You will report directly to the General Manager and act as their invaluable support during their absence, ensuring smooth daily operations. Your leadership will enhance overall store performance by exemplifying best practices in account management, marketing, and compliance, all while delivering an outstanding customer experience in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coach, and train Customer Service Team Members to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Accurately process loan/pawn applications, check cashing transactions, and evaluate financial transactions while assessing risk.
- Build strong customer relationships through daily inbound and outbound call campaigns, aiming to drive new business, enhance profitability, and build brand loyalty.
- Implement security measures and adhere to proper opening and closing procedures, managing vault and cash drawer effectively.
- Oversee account management and recovery processes, maintaining a strong focus on customer service to minimize losses and prevent charge-offs.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations by conducting store audits, preparing reports, and compiling financial data.
- Maintain store appearance and cleanliness, addressing facility needs and coordinating maintenance services as necessary.
- Assist the General Manager in daily store operations and responsibilities during their absence.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks to meet both individual and team performance benchmarks.
- Commit to a full-time schedule with regular attendance, including weekends. This role requires a minimum of 40 hours per week.*

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least one year of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience.
- Minimum one year of experience in customer service, retail, or sales roles.
- Hands-on experience with cash management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate phone systems, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other relevant systems.
- Must be at least 18 years old (19 in certain locations).
- A background check is required (subject to applicable law).
- Ability to meet the physical demands of this position, including standing for extended periods, moving up to 25 pounds, and operating various mechanical controls.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in check cashing, document verification, and money order processing.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may be necessary for some locations.
