We are searching for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing Operations Team

As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating day to day operations of a Composites One distribution center. This includes accurate receipt, shipment, storage, and production process of materials according to all established Company and regulatory policies and procedures.

How will you impact our organization as a Warehouse Supervisor on a daily basis?

  • Ensure orders arrive and are shipped on time to appropriate destinations and in expected quantities.
  • Assist in staffing, development and performance management of warehouse workers.
  • Communicate and ensure all requirements pertaining to warehousing, material handling, safety and shipping are followed by staff.
  • Oversee and assist with the receipt, coordination and safety of goods coming through the warehouse.
Physical Requirements in this role include:
  • Moderate to heavy physical activity; ability to independently lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for entire length of shift; regularly required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend or crawl; may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance.
  • Ability to reach, grasp, push and pull with hands and arms.
  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus; hand-eye coordination.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in a warehouse environment, including experience with order picking, shipping, receiving, inventory counts and pick/pack.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of FIFO, OSHA requirements, safety awareness and hazardous materials shipping.
  • Forklift certification strongly preferred.
  • Ability to learn and utilize internal database and software systems, including internal -Warehouse Management System, B2B functions, near-miss and MSDS, UPS, FedEx and dedicated logistics systems.
  • HS Diploma, GED or equivalent.
