We are currently looking for a Full Time IT Network Engineer to join our SS Network Services Team team located at the Information Technology working .

Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting and managing the computer network system of the Chickasaw Nation Division of Commerce.

Responsibilities:
* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types
- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner
- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made

* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
- Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment
- Maintains and promotes professionalism
- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
* Lead the designing, engineering, testing, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting and installing LAN and WAN networks
* Actively searches for duplications, inconsistencies and inefficiencies within department policies, SOPs, forms, and manuals and identifies areas of compliance risk and recommends solutions
* Provide subject matter expert knowledge in all current VOIP protocols including SIP and SCCP
* Ensures the design and ongoing reporting of metrics associated with network systems
* Effectively troubleshoot complex issues involving Cisco routers, VPNs, switches, firewalls, and communication systems
* Operate and maintain the VPN infrastructure in use throughout the CNDC
* Create, implement, and distribute policies and procedures for the Wide Area Network
* Assess bandwidth requirements to ensure network capacity and processing speed
* Configure, operate, and maintain network related applications including various Cisco Management Applications
* Installs upgrades and patches to existing systems

* Experience with Windows, Linux / Unix, and web services.
* Proficiency in CISCO IOS and routing protocols
* Experience with load balancing and clustering

* 5 years directly related experience

Education:
Essential:
* Bachelors of Business
* High School, GED or Equivalent

Credentials:
Essential:
* Cisco Certified Network Associate

Nonessential:
* Standard Driver's License
* Pass gaming background check
* Gaming license or permit as required by assigned position
