PurposeServe as a graphic designer for the Healthyhorns Public Information Team with the support of the Art Director and Brand Manager.
Responsibilities-
Collaborate with clients to design a range of marketing and communication materials, including print items, digital content, promotional items, presentations, and more. Meet with clients in person for high-priority or detailed projects as needed. Provide multiple rounds of proofs, incorporating requested edits.
Request physical proofs of select items to ensure accuracy. Maintain an organized file structure for proofs and final materials. Adhere to university style guides and branding specifications in all design work
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field. 1+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Strong portfolio showcasing creative and effective design solutions across various platforms and mediums. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively present and discuss design concepts. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for typography, color, layout, and accessibility. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Work performed on multiple projects concurrently, under pressure of rigid deadlines and time limitations.
Preferred QualificationsAdditional years of experience in graphic design. Familiarity with UT brand guidelines, policies, and assets. Experience in designing graphics for transferable use across multiple platforms, including social media.
Hourly Rate$25.00
