Summary Spire is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to work in the St. Louis or Birmingham office. This position will focus on realizing success through high-performing teams and will be primarily responsible for the delivery of sprint goals and objectives through a collaborative partnership with Product Owners. Duties and Responsibilities Supports the Product Owner in managing the team backlog Coordinates with other scrum masters/teams on dependencies Facilitates team ceremonies: DSU, Retrospective, Planning, and Reviews Support the team working agreement and agreed upon processes (Scrum, quality, WIP limits, and process rules) Addresses and eliminates impediments that are outside the team's authority Assist the team in preparation for PI Planning, Demo's, and Inspect and Adapt Facilitates the team's progress toward team goals Support the team in planning and pointing work to enable predictability Ensures team follows processes outlined in definition of done Shield the team from outside distractions Ensures the team's work is reflected accurately in agile lifecycle tool Challenges the norm to improve performance in quality, predictability, flow, and velocity Helps the team improve and take responsibility for their actions Teaches problem solving techniques Focused on improving team dynamics.
