About the Role: STONE Resource Group is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join a dynamic team within a prominent financial services company. This contract-to-hire opportunity is based in St. Louis, MO, and requires a hybrid work schedule. We are looking for a motivated individual who can help guide the team to deliver high-quality products on time while optimizing system performance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and work-life balance.
Team Structure & Mission: You will be leading 2.5 teams (2 full Scrum teams and 1 small Kanban team) in their mission to deliver value by focusing on the right priorities, maintaining sustainable productivity, and promoting well-being. The team operates with a "flat structure", emphasizing collaboration, with all members, including developers, taking ownership of the entire development cycle, including testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Scrum and Kanban teams to deliver high-quality products on time.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure the team adheres to Agile principles.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and collaboration.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimize processes and system performance.
Must-Haves:
- Strong experience with JIRA.
- Familiarity with Google Workspaces.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Prior experience working with software engineering teams.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
Nice-to-Haves:
- Technical background in software engineering or QA, with any Java experience being highly desirable.
- Experience with Aha or similar tools to JIRA.
