Summary Responsibilities:

  • Coaches the Agile Team in self-management
  • Helps the team focus on creating increments of value each sprint
  • Facilitates the removal of impediments to the team's progress
  • Ensures that all team events take place, are productive and kept within the timebox
  • Exhibits Lean-Agile leadership – Exhibits the behaviors of a Lean-Agile Leader with a Lean-Agile Mindset. -Helps the team embrace SAFe Core Values, adopt and apply SAFe Principles, implement SAFe practices.
  • Supports the team rules – The rules of an Agile Team are lightweight, but they are rules nonetheless, and the SM/TC is responsible for reinforcing them. These may include the rules of Scrum, Built-In Quality practices from Extreme Programming (XP), Work in Process (WIP) limits from Kanban, and any other process rules the team has agreed.
  • Facilitates the team’s progress toward team goals – The SM/TC is trained as a team facilitator and is continuously engaged in challenging the old norms of development to improve performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow, and velocity.
  • The SM/TC helps the team focus on creating increments of value each sprint and achieving daily and Sprint Goals in the context of the current Program Increment (PI) Objectives.


Requirements :


  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 7+ years' experience performing in multiple agile roles.
  • Certifications: SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or other leading agile certification is required.
  • 5+ years of relevant Scrum Master or agile team experience required.
  • 2+ years of experience at large organizations or Fortune 500 companies preferred.
  • Experience practicing and coaching Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban and Scaled Agile (SAFe or other)
  • Ability to clearly articulate the value of Agile and Scaled Agile to the team and stakeholders.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, ability to form positive relationships, gain trust and add value as a coach and a mentor.
  • Proven ability in helping to enhance teams' agile maturity, performance and value delivery.
  • Agile-at-scale Experience: Guiding teams through PI planning prep, facilitating PI sessions during quarterly PI event etc.
  • JIRA / Confluence hands-on experience a must, including reports, dashboards and roadmap. proven ability guiding teams through JIRA best practices.
