Stamford Health is looking for an EP/Angio Nurse Specialist to join their team The Nurse Specialist will plan and deliver patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and following all established standards of practice within State and Federal guidelines. The EP/Angio-Nurse Specialist will be proficient in patient assessment and Pre/Intra/Post care particular to the Electrophysiology patient and be competent in the management of patients in the Cardiovascular Suite, which included the the cath lab and vascular interventional radiology population. When assigned the charge role the EP/Angio-Nurse Specialist will coordinate the operating schedule and supervise unit activities. In addition, the Nurse Specialist will provide supervision of non-RN personnel.
Qualifications
1) Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
2) Valid license as Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
3) Maintain minimum of 6 contact hours annually.
4) BCLS, ACLS
5) Moderate Sedation
6) 2-3 year critical care experience (which includes ER experience or Cath Lab experience).
