BASIC SCOPE/PURPOSE

Summary: Staci Americas, a leading Global 3rd party logistics provider, is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Business Development Representative. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in driving the growth and expansion of our business. You will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with potential clients, presenting our services, and closing deals. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of the company.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and industry events.
  • Establish pipeline of account prospects by way of continuous communication, tracking and engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and tailor our services to meet their requirements
  • Present and demonstrate our services to potential clients, highlighting our unique value proposition and benefits
  • Assist in the creation of proposals for potential and current clients.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to onboard new clients and ensure smooth transition
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
  • Regularly update and maintain CRM software.
  • Achieve and exceed KPIs & objectives on a regular basis
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles, preferably in the logistics industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently present to clients at all levels
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and propose effective solutions
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
