This position provides implementation and support of data, telecommunications, voice, and/or collaboration technologies, as well as mentoring for more junior engineers where possible. Job Responsibilities: Resolves low and medium- to-high complexity technical issues brought up through the Information Technology Help Desk and other methods for data, telecommunications, voice, and/or collaboration technologies during and outside of core business hours. Interacts and cooperates with other internal and external support groups to facilitate resolution of technical issues to improve system availability and meet Service Level Agreements. Installs, monitors, repairs, and provides recommendations to improve the performance and efficiency of network, telecommunications, voice, and/or collaboration infrastructure to establish stable and reliable services that support enterprise business needs. Provides troubleshooting, repair, and end user support daily. Assists Senior Engineers in providing continual technical expertise in the evaluation, planning, analysis, development, and implementation of data, telecommunications, voice and/or collaboration technologies, including assisting in providing roadmaps, processes, and procedures for both project work and general organizational growth in conjunction with other analysts, engineers, and management. Engages in other duties as needed that support Alliant Energy’s Values and helps deliver on our Purpose to serve customers and build stronger communities. Participate in on-call rotations, including outside business hours; must be prepared to travel as required. Required Qualifications 2 years of related experience. Hardware installation experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience communicating professionally with end users in problem / urgent situations.
