FirstPro is now accepting resumes for a Help Desk Analyst poistion based in Augusta, ME. This role will focus on day to day support of the company's internal users on hardware, software, applications and peripherals in a Windows-based environment. This is a contract position that can be worked mainly remotely from home.

Candidates must be located within a commutable distance to Augusta, ME, as you will be required to work onsite at least 1 day every other week.

Responsibilities

  • Staff Service Desk queue to take incoming calls.
  • Performs a full range of system administration functions to control systems and attain maximum utilization and efficiency.
  • Provides full user support for agency's standard application software to meet user/agency needs.
  • Utilizing remote tools to provide technical support, the applicant should be able to troubleshoot and correctly diagnose hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to move between different teams if the need arises.
  • Tests and evaluates software and hardware products to determine applicability and value to agency operations.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of IT Help Desk experience required
  • Prior experience working with Active Directory, O365 and other Windows technologies
