HR Administrator – Reading, PA

We have an immediate opening for an HR Administrator at our 621 Brentwood Drive facility.
Hours are 8 am – 5 pm Monday through Friday

The HR Administrator provides administrative support to the HR Manager on all personnel matters.. Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Position Summary:The HR Administrator provides administrative support to the HR Manager on all personnel matters. The Human Resource Administrator aids with and facilitates human resource processes. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed. Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Essential Job Functions:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Maintains confidentiality in all matters concerning HR and Personnel.
  • Maintain HRIS for employment actions regarding hires, promotions, terminations, etc.
  • Time correction for payroll; submit timesheets to Payroll for processing.
  • Maintain Employment Law Posters ordering and postings.
  • Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
  • Assist with Recruiting/Organizational Development functions on an as needed basis, including but not limited to: initiating background checks, interns, and training, scheduling and conducting interviews, and posting to internal and external job boards.
  • Provide customer service to employee questions and requests.
  • Create and/or assist with written communication with employees.
  • Maintain EEO data requirements for the Company and complete Annual EEO-1 Report.
Qualifications: The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Marketing, or related field; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be confidential and maintain a level of professionalism in work behavior.
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize daily.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Spanish speaking preferred
