Patient Driver at Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center in Spokane, WA

Schedule Details: Supplemental or On Call, Variable Shift

Provides transportation for non-emergent patients and their responsible adult companions to and from, clinics, physician offices, hospitals and other participating facilities on a scheduled basis for services provided at such facilities. Responsible for the efficient and safe operation of a para-transit vehicle and for transporting persons requiring wheelchair transport in a courteous, safe and timely manner. The driver drives the van in a safe and efficient manner, utilizing van only for patient use unless otherwise instructed by the Manager. In between transports, the driver may perform a variety of duties as assigned. Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner.

Required Qualifications:

  • Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a transporter, courier or similar position
