Job Summary

This Physical Therapist position is an exciting opportunity at Rockwood Clinic, responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing medically prescribed treatment programs to restore patient function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide skilled physical therapy in accordance with the physician's plan of care
  2. Treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and maintain maximum performance
  3. Observe, record, and report patient reactions to treatment and any changes in condition
  4. Instruct and advise patients, family members, and other health team members on the phases of physical therapy
  5. Evaluate and regularly re-evaluate patient progress
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a physical therapy program from a school approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
  • Licensed in the State of Washington as a physical therapist
  • Health Care Provider level CPR certification
  • Current Washington state driver's license
  • Minimum one year of physical therapy experience
  • Preferred qualifications: minimum one year of experience working with frail or elderly populations and experience in Medicare Certified Home Health
