CenterPoint Energy is looking for a Senior Analyst GIS Programmer and a Analyst GIS Programmerto join our CEHE GIS Programming Team, located in Evansville, IN.

You will have the ability to: be responsible for acting as a consultant to business clients for technology solutions, managing client expectations, and serving as a subject matter expert in our GIS application suite.

• Collaborate with developers, specialists, product owners and stakeholders in conceptualizing, developing, and maintaining software products in support of CNP Electric and Gas operations.
• Work with other developers, system administrators, and vendor support to resolve production issues.
• Assist with determining appropriate technologies for future endeavors.
• Develop and support software applications, database integrations, interfaces to fulfill business requirements in accordance with CNP development and architectural standards.
• Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code, and produce clear and concise documentation.
• Mentor junior developers through code review and pair programming.
• Perform Emergency Operating Plan (EOP) assignments that may require extended days and include challenging field conditions to assist utility restoration efforts.
  

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  

Senior GIS Programmer Analyst

• Requires five (5) years of related experience, including: Applications programming experience to include custom web, desktop, and mobile GIS applications development:
  

• Esri's software suite, including ArcGIS Pro, Arc Objects, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online.
• Script programming with Python, ArcPy, Arcade, and Windows command line.
• Web Services and Application Development using C#, .Net Framework, MVC, Web API, WCF, and Entity Framework.
• Web development using JavaScript/HTML5/CSS, Dojo. ReactJS and Typescript.
• Database development in Oracle 12g with PL/SQL.
• Experience with ETL applications such as Safe Software's FME Platform.
  

GIS Programmer Analyst

• Requires three (3) years of related experience, including: Applications programming experience to include custom web, desktop, and mobile GIS applications development:
  

• Esri's software suite, including ArcGIS Pro, Arc Objects, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language to include Python, Arcade, SQL, or Windows command line.
• Web Services and Application Development using C#, .Net Framework, MVC, Web API, WCF, and Entity Framework.
• Web development using JavaScript/HTML5/CSS, Dojo. ReactJS and Typescript.
• Experience with ETL applications such as Safe Software's FME Platform.
  

• Web development using JavaScript/HTML5/CSS, Dojo. ReactJS and Typescript.
• Ability to develop efficient data ETL processes and integrate system interfaces between GIS and other business systems such as SAP.
• Direct experience with Azure DevOps.
• Database development in Oracle 12g with PL/SQL.
• Safe Software FME Form and FME Flow.
• Spatial Business Systems Automated Utility Design.
• GSI Works Distribution Design Studio.
