As an Immigration Services Officer (Level 3), you will adjudicate complex and precedent setting cases, provide oversight to lower level Officers and perform analytical and evaluative work associated with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) program activities. Responsibilities Support Adjudications by adjudicating complex cases, conducting security checks, identifying fraud, program quality assurance, conduct training/mentoring, serving as a liaison to both external and internal stakeholders and communicate decisions. Perform analytical and evaluative work associated with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) program activities; as well as analyzing the effectiveness of existing and proposed standards, regulations and policies. Provide oversight and adjudication of cases involving national security and egregious public safety concerns and serve as a subject matter expert in more complex adjudications. Conduct legal research and prepare position papers, notices of intent, and notices to appear in removal proceedings. Develop standard operating policies and procedures designed to detect and prevent benefit fraud and monitor progress to determine if objectives are being met. Liaison with USCIS Fraud Detection and National Security (FDNS) officers, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) attorneys and agents, and other legal, law enforcement, and intelligence officials.
