Housekeeping Aid: Substance Use Treatment Center

Phoenix Rising Recovery is currently hiring a Housekeeping Aid for our Palm Desert, CA location
Summary: The Housekeeping Aide performs day-to-day housekeeping services ensuring a clean, attractive facility in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and DHCS standards.
Schedule: Full Time; M-F 8 am - 4:30 pm with some flexibility in schedule.
Location: Palm Desert
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day housekeeping duties including: dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning, replenishing, and mopping.
- Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects.
- Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities.
- Identifies and reports any hazards or potential safety concerns.
- Adheres to facilities confidentiality policies & procedures.
- Maintain professional relationships with the staff, residents, families, and visitors.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Monitors Supply inventory and fills supplies requisition requests.
- Maintain knowledge of job functions within the organization.
- Maintain a consistent and open channel of communication with the Program Director and staff on duty. Performs any other duties as needed.
- Assist with Environment of care and Health and Safety procedures.
- Must be able to assist in the evacuation of clients
- Must demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
- Must be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment

Phoenix Rising Recovery offers competitive salaries for all positions. Regular employees working at least 30 hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance. Full time employees are also provided a Healthcare Flexible spending account with $250 company contribution. Pre-Employment Requirements
- Hiring is contingent upon completion of a TB test, and clearance on a drug screen and pre-employment physical. Clean driving record and current first aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain upon hire.
- Phoenix Rising Recovery Treatment Center requires employees to be vaccinated with exceptions only as required by law (i.e. medical or religion).
