Job Relationships

Reports to: Senior Manager, Infrastructure and Enterprise Architecture

Principal Responsibilities

  • Architectural Leadership: Analyze existing digital workspace and EUC systems to identify business requirements, define and communicate digital workspace strategy, standards, and roadmaps based on the current and future needs of the enterprise.
  • Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted advisor to Springfield Clinic and IT leadership, providing insights and recommendations on new digital workspace and EUC technologies and trends to enhance user experience and productivity.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work across the broader IT organization, collaborating with teams across application development, user support, and security to ensure cohesive and integrated solutions.
  • Technology Evaluation: Lead and facilitate the research, evaluation, and selection of digital workspace and EUC technologies and product standards.
  • System Integration: Develop detailed plans for integrating new digital workspace solutions into existing environments and provide technical oversight and coordination for projects driven by organizational objectives.
  • In-House Technology Consultant: Act as an in-house technology consultant to engineering staff and IT leadership, offering expertise and guidance on best practices and innovative solutions for digital workspace and EUC technologies.
  • User Experience Focus: Prioritize user experience in all digital workspace initiatives, ensuring solutions are user-friendly, efficient, and support remote and hybrid work environments.
  • Mentorship and Training: Inform, train, and mentor team members on current and upcoming trends and technologies in the digital workspace and EUC domains.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, adhering to the Springfield Clinic's customer service philosophy, and comply with incident reporting and procedures.

Education/Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of design and implementation experience in IT with expertise in digital workspace and EUC technologies, including virtual application and desktop delivery, collaboration platforms, and device management.
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in roles focused on digital workspace solutions or EUC technologies.
