In this role, you will contribute to ensuring a secure today and a smarter tomorrow. Your expertise as a TS/SCI cleared VDI Engineer will be essential in supporting our intelligence clients.
Key Responsibilities
As a VDI Engineer, you will:
- Design and define the architecture of VDI systems for both new and existing computer infrastructures.
- Coordinate system development, encompassing design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in troubleshooting performance issues across a globally accessed virtual desktop environment.
- Provide Tier 3/4 support to system administrators to resolve VDI-related challenges.
- Guide optimization efforts for desktop interoperability and act as a liaison among various VDI technologies.
- Maintain advanced knowledge in the administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure technologies.
- Operate within complex production environments, collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
- Conduct trade studies and offer recommendations on solutions and decisions regarding technology acquisitions.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 1.5 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and education.
- Progressive experience from Administrator to Senior Engineer roles.
- Proficiency in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v7.15 and later.
- Experience with Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS).
- Familiarity with Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD).
- Knowledge of Citrix Netscaler / ADC / VPX.
- Experience with Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM) and Citrix App Layering.
- Experience with Liquidware Profile Unity and Hyper V, VMware VDI.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:
- Experience managing and administering Windows Server clustering.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with System Center Virtual Machine Manager and VMware vCenter 6.7.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policies.
- Experience with Home Directory and Profile Management Support Services.
- Expertise in Desktop Software Provisioning and Support Services.

This position requires U.S. Citizenship.
