Summary

The Program Coordinatorincreases the efficiency of the renewable energy interconnection program administration by helping implement incentive and non-incentive programs. Deliver a positive customer experience and balance the needs and regulatory requirements of the company. Assist the team to ensure that projects are completed on time and with quality to meet department goals and deadlines.

Minimum Requirements

- Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field plus one (1) years' experience in related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications:

- Working knowledge of project management.

- Considerable knowledge in a specialized department function including department practices, programs, plans and policies. Working knowledge of computer systems design and applications related to department support.

- Working knowledge of queries and report creation utilizing various systems. Demonstrated ability to analyze data and formulate conclusions, reports, trends and/or recommendations.

- Ability to present ideas in an effective manner, orally and in writing.

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees and the general public. Knowledgeable in CCB, Rates, ESRM, Excel and Interconnect Requirements.

Major Accountabilities

1) Process DER applications within established timelines. Interact with customers (internal/external) on a regular basis making decisions regarding customer applications.

2) Monitor & respond to dashboard reports to address issues to keep within program guidelines and explain variances. Evaluate and interpret reporting.

3) Compile summary analytics of customer contact/activity to evaluate issues and opportunities associated with program. Recommend project improvement methods, and improvements to project and program management practices. Explain rational for recommendations and contribute to plan of action.

4) Review electrical drawings to determine if they meet interconnect requirements.

5) Assign appropriate rates and send appropriate field orders.

FlexRole:

This position is not required to be performed at a specific APS facility as long as adequate technology and a solid ergonomic set up are present. Pending agreement with leadership, employees hired into this role will be able to choose where they prefer to perform their work, but the ultimate decision is the company's. Employees will have two options to choose from:

  • APS office based: The employee prefers to work most of the time from an APS facility.
  • Home based: The employee prefers to work most of the time from his/her home.

*Employees in Flex roles are required to reside in Arizona (or NM for Four Corners-based employees). Role types are subject to change based on business need.
