Summary:
Order warehouse inventory, manage inventory, set-up inventory locations and process department orders. Prepare invoices for payment, perform cycle counts and coordinate inventory set-ups with user departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain product information from vendors, review order requests, and utilize specialized product line knowledge to ensure efficient & effective purchase of supplies.
  • Issue purchase orders using automated methods and contact vendors according to established departmental procedures to place orders.
  • Handle set-up and coordination of inventory locations to insure smooth, efficient processing and organized workflow.
  • Research and resolve problems regarding back orders, product returns, & billing discrepancies to expedite orders & ensure continuity of operations.
  • Review product information and recommend products & purchasing/delivery process which improves quality of service.
  • Maintain item master file within the materials department
  • Approve invoices and reconcile accounts payable.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, records, & department files.
  • Participate in projects or on committees, as directed by manager.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma and one year of inventory management experience
  • Preference given to applicants w/medical/healthcare experience
  • Preference given to applicants w/Basic MS Excel, Outlook, Teams & Word and data entry skills
Desired: MS Word and Excel preferred. Some data entry skills desired.
