ARE YOU THE FOSTER CARE CASE MANAGER OUR TEAM NEEDS?

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, education, or another field in human services
  • 2+ years of experience in foster care or out-of-home care provision OR a master's degree in a related field
  • Licensure by DCFS or eligibility for licensure
  • Ability and willingness to complete the children and residential experiences (CARE) and therapeutic crisis intervention (TCI) training
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
  • At least 21 years old

WHAT VITAL ASSISTANCE DO YOU PROVIDE?

This social work position has 40-hour commitments, Monday through Friday, punctuated by participation in an after-hours emergency on-call rotation.

As a Foster Care Case Manager, your day begins with purpose, navigating the complex journey of foster care with empathy and precision. You'll find yourself facilitating the reunion of children with their biological parents or guiding them toward their forever families through adoption or guardianship. Regular visits with children and their biological parents become your norm as you weave through a tapestry of client interactions. Collaborating seamlessly with foster parents, adoptive parents, and other stakeholders, you ensure that all essential services are delivered with care. Your meticulous documentation and outcome management ensure every step is a step forward in our collective mission.
