We were founded in 2008 by pre-eminent psychiatrists and psychologists and treat 6,000+ patients per year. With the critical need for mental health care and eating disorder treatment, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, we're looking for passionate and qualified professionals who will live out our mission to help save the lives of our patients.

What you'll be doing:

This is by no means a "behind-the-scenes" role, as your work will help the company serve patients daily in a multitude of ways.

The Admissions Nurse is responsible for assessing patient's medical status and documented information to assist in determining appropriateness for admission, as necessary. The Admissions Nurse assists in the assessment and coordination of prospective patients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Reviews records, labs and other paperwork from sending facility for patient's clinically approved or pending approval to confirm medical appropriateness for transfer to ERCPL
  • Consults and reviews medically complex documentation as part of intake assessment program to confirm medical appropriateness for admission to ERCPL, escalating to physician whenever necessary
  • Coordinates and follows-up with referring providers and facilities, as appropriate, to request and obtain required and/or updated records, labs or other required medical paperwork
  • Completes nurse-to-nurse handoff communication when required with sending facility or provider
  • Coordinates and communicates with on-site teams regarding medically complex cases, when needed
  • Provides support and education to admissions team, interpreting and helping guide decision making in relation to medically complex cases
  • Communicates directly with patients and caregivers regarding medical concerns or questions, as needed
Qualifications:
  • BSN required
  • RN license required
  • Knowledge of eating disorder diagnosis & treatment strongly preferred

Compensation starting range for the Registered Nurse role is $34.50 - $42.00/hr. Ranges are based upon market expectations and are dependent upon candidate experience.
