As a Registered Nurse (RN) on the Orthopedic Unit at Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you enjoy the specialized care that post op total joint patients require This is a 10-bed orthopedic post-surgical unit with a focus on elective orthopedic surgeries. You can also expect to see, at times, various other post-surgical patients. You will be able to quickly grow your skills with our mixed patient population and specialized nursing care. The experience you will gain on this unit is invaluable

This is a Fulltime 30 hour/week Day position consisting of two 12 hour shifts per week alternating with three 12 hour shifts the next.

What you'll do:
  • Assess patients' physical and psychosocial status based on interview, examination and review of clinical data.
  • Employing your critical thinking skills to solve problems and achieve patient outcomes
• Demonstrate proficiency in assessing, responding and adapting plan of care to meet the needs of the patient population served by the CMC.
  • You will serve as a mentor for your team
  • You'll have the opportunity to join various clinical committees to help drive exceptional care and create positive outcomes for our patients


Qualifications

What you'll bring:
  • 1+ years of experience as a RN
    • Experience in an acute care setting is highly preferred
  • Current unencumbered RN license in the State of NH
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred
    • BSN strongly preferred
