EMR Implementation Support Specialist

Quincy Medical Group (QMG) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented EMR Implementation Support Specialist to join our team. QMG is a multi-specialty group practice with over 155 physicians and providers serving West Central Illinois, Southeast Iowa, and Northeast Missouri. With more than 85 years of leadership in healthcare, QMG continues to innovate and set the standard in transforming patient care.
Responsibilities
As an EMR Implementation Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Epic EMR system. Your responsibilities will include providing departmental and end-user support, submitting and tracking incident tickets, and conducting user training to optimize the system's use. This role requires a blend of technical skills, problem-solving, and excellent communication to ensure our providers and staff can deliver high-quality care to our patients.
This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work location is in Quincy, IL.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively coordinate with various departments and team members. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to adhere to guidelines are essential for success in this role.
An associate's degree or equivalent education is required, along with at least one year of related experience or training. A combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to excel in this role will also be considered.
