EXP - Senior Multimedia Designer

Reports to: Corporate Marketing Team, Creative Director

The EXP Corporate Marketing team is an action-oriented, proactive group of problem solvers and story tellers. Each individual is committed to teamwork and internal client service, poised under fast-paced deadlines and has a positive, flexible 'do whatever it takes' attitude.

As EXP's Senior Multimedia Designer, you will be a strategic thought partner to the Corporate Marketing team, responsible for leading the creative development and implementation of multimedia projects: conceptualizing, presenting and executing innovative digital design solutions across multiple platforms in a deadline-driven environment. Above all, you must be an excellent visual communicator who fosters a culture of curiosity and collaboration, navigates diverse communication styles and adapts quickly to shifting demands.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Lead the creative development and implementation of multimedia projects across multiple platforms and in collaboration with Corporate Marketing and Communications teams
  • Translating marketing, communication, and business initiatives into multimedia graphic material
  • Support firmwide video production including interviews, short form video series, motion graphics, animated GIFs, etc.
  • Provide regular analytics of media performance across platforms; translate analytics into ideas to increase user engagement
  • Support business development teams with creative media presentations for targeted proposals and pursuits
  • Multimedia project manager for EXP website including but not limited to video embedding, capture of analytics and visual recommendations
    • Knowledge of front-end development skills, UX design principles, HTML/CSS coding experience a plus
  • Lead company-wide photography requests and requirements while collecting, organizing and archiving photography and multimedia libraries
  • Proactively identify and source media and creative assets needed for marketing purposes on an annual basis
  • Conduct design, photo and multimedia research for new features, trends and technologies
  • Assist in performing complete cycle of video production work to include: developing concepts, collaborating with writers on scripts and storyboarding, preparing site locations or studio environment and post-production video editing
An Ideal Candidate:
  • 8-10 years of professional multimedia (print, digital/web, photo and video) experience
    • A/E/C or related professional services industry preferred
  • Understanding of fundamental principles of graphic and digital design and can adhere to strict brand requirements, applying it consistently through all multimedia materials
  • Has advanced knowledge of troubleshooting technical issues during production process
  • Advocates for project and employee footage and photos to be taken when images are lacking to support EXP's marketing, communication, and business development needs
  • Proficient in full Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects + Premier/Pro), any additional multimedia software and FlippingBook a plus
  • HTML/CSS
  • Willing to travel, on occasion, for various assignments
  • Has excellent attention to detail
  • Passionate about storytelling and concepting, providing creative, innovative, and relevant ideas
  • Ability to multi-task, work efficiently and within an organized manner
  • Works well independently and on a team
  • Will professionally handle constructive criticism
  • Actively seeks out outside educational opportunities to expand knowledge base and build internal/external networks
