Pediatric Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner

Join our team as a Pediatric Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner and make a difference in the lives of children with specialized health needs. In this vital role, you will leverage your clinical expertise to assess, manage, and provide high-quality care in our Pediatrics Gastroenterology department.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Collecting clinical data, preparing patients for tests, and administering treatments.
- Utilizing your knowledge in various medical fields to diagnose conditions and determine appropriate interventions.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring seamless patient processing and discharge during clinical shifts.
- Serving as a mentor to new staff and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver family-centered care.
Qualifications Required:
- A Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- NP licensure upon hire, along with ATLS and BCLS certifications.
- Exceptional communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in computerized medical recordkeeping and a commitment to HIPAA compliance.
This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift and carry equipment, and engage in other typical nursing activities.
