REPORTS TO: Dispatch Supervisor
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
The Dispatcher, under the direction of the Dispatch Supervisor, expedites the flow of communication to support our vision of being the obvious choice for our employees and customers.
Essential Functions:
- Address employee and customer concerns and issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Communication with employees and other departments as needed.
- Monitoring of Dashboard and communication with supervisor if concerns noted.
- Review of previous days statistics to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Check in process at end of day.
- Verification of route completion.
- Retrieval and charging of tablets.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to convey Tiger Sanitation as the obvious choice for our customers, employees and community.
- Actively demonstrates Tiger Sanitation's core values in daily tasks and communications: Professionalism, Respect, Accountability and Communication
- Ability to demonstrate decision making skills that align with Tiger Sanitation's 4 Step Decision Making Process
- Ability to collaborate with coworkers.
- Ability to prioritize activities to achieve individual and team expectations and goals.
- Two (2) years' experience working in dispatch or logistics, preferred.
Working Conditions
This position will be based in a climate-controlled building with extended periods of standing and using manual dexterity to operate computers and telephonic equipment.
