THE BLOCK is a dynamic and community-focused container park, where creativity, entertainment, and local flavor converge. Our unique venue hosts everything from live music performances to outdoor yoga and movie nights, to pop-up festivals, and we’re seeking an enthusiastic Events Coordinator to join our team. Responsibilities: As a Part-Time Events Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless event execution and exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities: Event Check-In and Management: Greet our vendors and performers with a warm smile and efficient check-in process. • Coordinate load in and out logistics, and park sound for scheduled entertainment, including bands, and performers. • Work closely with vendors, artists, and talent to ensure smooth setup and breakdown. • Issue payments. Customer Service: Be the friendly face of THE BLOCK, assisting visitors with inquiries and providing information about upcoming events. • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally. • Handle reservations, crowd control, and any on-site issues during events. • Make paging and park announcements as needed, Schedule Flexibility: This role primarily involves evening and weekend shifts, aligning with our peak event times. Adaptability is key—you’ll thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Qualifications: • 2-5 years of previous event coordination or hospitality experience required. • Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset. • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure. Compensation: $25 - $30 hourly
