Job Title: Control System Technician
Location: Asheville,NC
Pay Range: Up to $38/HR
FULL TIME: (PERM ROLE)
What’s the Job?
-
Experience with Distech and/or Siemens programming, commissioning, and graphics is preferred.
-
Entry-level candidates with proven exposure to DDC systems will be considered.On-the-job and factory training will be provided to enhance knowledge of Distech/Siemens systems.
-
Perform point-to-point checkout, calibration, and functional testing of systems.
-
Generate and track punch list items and deficiencies in design, mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
-
Demonstrate system operations to customers, design teams, and third parties.Conduct quality control inspections of installations and programming.
-
Provide training to customers on system operations.
What’s Needed?
-
3+ years of direct experience with DDC control systems.
-
Understanding of mechanical equipment sequences, control devices, calibration, low voltage wiring, and electrical conduit practices.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word)Self-motivated with excellent people and organizational skills.
-
Working knowledge of HVAC system components and design.
-
Ability to manage multiple projects and work flexible hours as needed.
-
Valid NC driver’s license and ability to pass a background check for facility access.
