Build the future of data. Join the Snowflake team. There is only one Data Cloud. Snowflake's founders started from scratch and designed a data platform built for the cloud that is effective, affordable, and accessible to all data users. But it didn't stop there. They engineered Snowflake to power the Data Cloud, where thousands of organizations unlock the value of their data with near-unlimited scale, concurrency, and performance. This is our vision: a world with endless insights to tackle the challenges and opportunities of today and reveal the possibilities of tomorrow. We are looking for an experienced product manager to lead our efforts around Snowflake's underlying cloud infrastructure across all major cloud providers including AWS, Azure, and GCP. In this role, you'll be working with numerous engineering teams to ensure Snowflake leverages the latest cloud technology - ranging from scalable cloud storage, elastic compute / VMs, to advanced networking and security services. Snowflake's presence on all major cloud platforms also requires close interaction and collaboration with our cloud partners including AWS, Azure, Google, on a regular basis. AS A SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL: Define and evolve the product vision and direction for new compute and storage options for Snowflake to align with the scale and performance needs of our customers Snowflake is making significant investments in the AI/ML space and has quickly become the preferred data platform for AI/ML workloads. It is imperative that Snowflake manages GPU instances effectively that empower these AI/ML workloads. Define product strategy for ML infrastructure operations (automated dynamic scheduling, ML training orchestrator, etc.) As Snowflake continues to scale, there are several opportunities for optimization - cost/performance improvements across several aspects of the infrastructure, stronger automation and efficiency gains across the entire infrastructure stack, etc. Execute on platform modernization/investment strategies based on strong understanding of diverse application workloads running on top of Snowflake Closely collaborate with a number of technology partners, in particular on joint roadmaps with the three major cloud partners (AWS, Azure, GCP) Work in a cross functional and collaborative role spanning several teams such as product, design, data / product analysts, technical program managers, engineering, marketing / alliances, sales and support. Manage programs and structure projects to ensure smooth execution of the product roadmap. Manage customer preview programs and engage in frequent conversations with customers both on site and in customer offices to understand their needs, gather feedback, and overall ensure that product direction is in tune with customer needs. OUR IDEAL SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER WILL HAVE: Good understanding and desired experience working with core cloud services (examples: strong cloud networking background - Nginx/Envoy/load balancer/private link, Storage - S3/EBS/Azure Blob Storage/GCS and various cloud APIs). Experience with numerous deployment strategies and automation for cloud services. The ability to understand the breadth of our product line as well as the technical ability to drill into details on owned areas. Prior experience defining a product vision and roadmap, and managing incremental execution through successful launches. Proven expertise working with, presenting to and managing communications with customers. Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally across the company. Ability to thrive in the dynamic environment that comes with being part of an innovative startup from its early days. That means flexibility as well as dealing with ambiguity. 5+ years of relevant experience in a technical role. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field or similar practical experience. BONUS POINT
