SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Deliver and report on speech therapy treatment for all clients
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatment within company timelines
  • Utilize evidence-based practice and skills to assess, plan, and implement interventions
  • Ensure that clients and families receive the highest quality of care through a caring and compassionate approach to services
  • Work with other health care professions, providing education and training as required
  • Maintain client confidentiality and follow all HIPAA and company policies and procedures
  • Train new speech therapy team members on job post functions
  • Maintain safety of clients and staff by following all cleaning policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager for clinical in-services and continuing education
  • Perform other duties as delegated, required or requested
Requirements

SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST ASSISTANT JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be licensed as required in the state of Texas
  • Maintain current licensure
  • New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
  • Maintain current CPR certification
  • Strong collaboration skills and motivation to work with people at all levels
  • Must be able to manage self by statistics and abide by conditions
  • Candidates must be willing and eager to work with adult and pediatric populations.

Salary Description

$26 - $40 per hour (based on experience)
