Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Five Points of College Station. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care to our residents, helping them achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate residents' conditions for swallowing or cognitive deficits and develop individualized treatment plans to increase their independence and functioning.
  • Provide skilled, medically necessary speech and language therapy assessments and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate diagnostic swallowing procedures and provide training and education to clients, family, caregivers, and other professionals.
  • Communicate changes in residents' conditions and provide accurate and timely billing records and supporting clinical documentation.
  • Respond to family requests and concerns in a timely manner and assure resident abuse or neglect does not occur.
Requirements:
  • Active/Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current ASHA Certification
  • In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
