We are looking for a US Regional Logistics Operations Leader that can navigate logistics disruptions and chart a clear path to deliver value to businesses, advance functional maturity and foster an environment where associates can thrive. To accomplish this, you will work with the manufacturing teams and across functional boundaries to build capability and support Logistics operational needs of Fabric's supply chains in the US. You will have responsibility for both strategy development and implementation to achieve a new future state.

This position will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the US Fabric's Logistics Operations team, both functionally and with P&D responsibilities
  • Develop logistics associates and builds supportive logistics operations community
  • Build and execute multi-year operational plan supports needs of businesses
  • Drive projects that create savings, deliver value and advance functional maturity
  • Be responsible for processes and operational execution for transportation and warehouse
  • Be responsible for 3PL provider capabilities and performance
  • Own aligned future state vision for Logistics in the region and plan to achieve it
  • Establish meaningful metrics and SLA, KPI with 3PLs
  • Mitigate risk and help business navigate logistics disruptions
  • Work to implement new systems to help grow and scale - efficiently and effectively
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, or minimum 5 years of equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in organizing, leading, and developing a high-performing team
  • Passionate about Logistics as a topic and have vision on how it can be improved at Gore
  • Demonstrated experience driving to solutions and creating structure to solve complex problems (Implementation results with Teams)
  • Experience managing 3PL's, connecting Service Level Agreement's to Key Performance Indicator's that drive performance
  • Demonstrated ability in building relationships, influencing with stakeholders and internal customers
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically with strategy implementation experience
  • Ability to effectively organize, set priorities, and adapt to a changing environment
  • Ability to travel up to 5-15% domestically and internationally
Desired Qualifications:
  • Professional Certifications - Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics
  • Experience with Logistics Systems (Transportation and Warehouse Management Systems) and developing requirements to support IT system solutions
  • Experience with SAP Logistics Modules
