POSITION - Assembly Operator I

JOB LOCATION - Chippewa Falls, WI

STARTING DATE - Immediately

EMPLOYMENT TERM - Temp-to-Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE - Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) - 1st Shift (Monday-Thursday, 6am-4:30pm)

STARTING PAY - $16-17/hr or more (Depends on Experience)

EDUCATION- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - 1 year previous work in a manufacturing setting is desired but not required, prefer work in injection molding or other assembly

As an Assembly Operator you will assemble work-in-progress parts into finished products using various methods such as sonic welding, heat staking, and gluing.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, label, mill, route, punch, sand, assemble, and package plastic parts.
  • Record production and scrap data on daily sheets, including labels, production tags, and hourly rate logs.
  • Report any defects or issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and comply with OSHA standards.
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by the shift supervisor or management.
Qualifications
  • No previous experience is necessary.
  • Basic communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Take and retain direction well.
  • Previous experience in injection molding or manufacturing assemblies is preferred but not required
