Conduct thorough pre-procedure evaluations, including patient history review, physical assessments, and interpretation of diagnostic tests. Educate patients and their families about the details of interventional procedures, including risks, benefits, and post-procedure care instructions. Assist in the coordination of patient care throughout the process, from pre-procedure preparation to post-procedure recovery and follow-up. Monitor patients' progress and recovery following procedures, addressing any complications or concerns as they arise. Provide ongoing patient education on medication management, vascular access care, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term heart health. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including nurses, physicians and surgeons, and allied health professionals, to ensure seamless patient care delivery. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient encounters, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards. Qualifications Master's degree in Nursing with specialization in Cardiology. Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner with focus on cardiology. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in interventional cardiology. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with proficiency in interpreting cardiac imaging studies and diagnostic tests. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate and support patients throughout the interventional cardiology process. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
