Dignity Health is seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Care Specialist to join our specialized team. This role involves providing comprehensive care to patients, focusing on assisting interventional cardiologists with patient evaluations, procedure education, and post-procedure follow-up care.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists to provide comprehensive patient care
- Conduct thorough pre-procedure evaluations, including patient history review, physical assessments, and interpretation of diagnostic tests
- Educate patients and their families about the details of interventional procedures, including risks, benefits, and post-procedure care instructions
- Assist in coordinating patient care throughout the process, from pre-procedure preparation to post-procedure recovery and follow-up
- Monitor patients' progress and recovery following procedures, addressing any complications or concerns as they arise
- Provide ongoing patient education on medication management, vascular access care, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term heart health
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care delivery
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient encounters, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing with specialization in Cardiology
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner with focus on cardiology
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in interventional cardiology
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with proficiency in interpreting cardiac imaging studies and diagnostic tests
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate and support patients throughout the interventional cardiology process
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice
