Description:
This position will provide services to various nonpublic schools in the LIU 12 region, assess students in need of remediation and support; plan, design and provide supplemental reading for students who have been identified; provide consultation on instructional strategies to nonpublic school staff.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree, preferred
  • PA Reading Specialist PK - 12 certification, required (will consider applicants willing to enroll in Reading Specialist Program and obtain an emergency permit)
  • PA Instructional Certification in Elementary Education PreK-4 or K-6 required
  • 3 years teaching experience, preferred
  • Proficiency in Google Drive and Microsoft Office Suite, preferred
Terms of Employment:
Full-time, 188-days

Salary: LIUEA Pay Scale (Bachelor's Degree min. $48,157; Master's Degree min. $53,450), plus benefits*
