Company Description
Rocky Mountain Barrel Company is the premier source for supplying new and used oak casks to thousands of clients all over the globe. Originally focused in North America, we have expanded our operations over the years to include multiple countries and a wide variety of barrels. Our business has grown consistently, and we continue to increase our volumes selling primarily to wineries, breweries, distilleries, and furniture makers.
The Role:
The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for all customer interactions within their territory. This includes prospecting/pre-sales, sales, and after-sales support. This role will require domestic and international travel to meet with clients, prospective clients, vendors, and conferences. The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated to acquire new knowledge and skills and will need to be able to manage several different tasks at any given time with minimal management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary area of responsibility will be handling all customer interactions including prospecting, sales, and after sales support
- Placing and answering phone calls/emails and handling customer appointments
- Traveling domestically and internationally to meet with clients, prospects, vendors, and conferences
- Collaborate closely with the management team to identify currently available inventory as well as future inbound inventory
- Work with the logistics manager to coordinate all aspects of freight
- Identify and implement best practices and support the continuous improvement of processes and quality standards
Manage data integrity of our CRM (NetSuite)
Qualifications:
- Strong Communication Skills and Excellent Customer Service Skills
- 5+ years in sales as a senior sales representative
- Experience working with a brokerage strongly preferred
- Experience with large deals $100,000+ preferred
- Previous experience with a CRM Platform
- Candidate must have a high degree of organizational ability and be able to multi-task
- Ability to learn quickly and retain information
- Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize as needed
- Professional manner and presentation
- Able to take initiative & work independently in a dynamic environment
- Positive, and energetic attitude
Compensation
- Anticipated on-target earnings are dependent on past experience
- Must be available on-site on a full-time basis (business hours are M-F 9am-4pm) at our office in Wheat Ridge, CO.
- Must be able to answer calls and emails before and after hours for sales-related tasks
- New hires are eligible for benefits after 90 days
- 2 weeks paid vacation per year, with one additional day for each year of employment
- Paid holidays including the entire week of Christmas
