$500 hiring bonus
Our practice has been providing quality medical and cosmetic dermatological care to Tucson and its surrounding communities for over 20 years. - Preparing patients to be seen by the medical provider.
- Obtaining, reviewing, and documenting patient's medical history in the electronic health record.
- EHR (Electronic Health Records) charting and scribing.
- Compressed workweeks: 40-hour work week of 4 days/10 hours a day.
- Benefits offered to employees who work 30 hours or more a week including health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and other supplemental policies.
- Paid Time Off Hours begin accruing upon first day of hire.
- Employer annual 401(k) contribution and profit-sharing plan available to eligible employees.
- Annual uniform allowance for specific positions (including our back-office team members).
- Cellular phone discount is available after 30 days of employment.
- Skin care services and products discount to employees and immediate family members after 30 days of employment.
- Will contribute to eligible employee's medical assistant certification.
Must have one of the following:
- Graduated from an approved medical assistant training program as identified in R4-16-101; or
- Graduated from an unapproved medical assistant training program and successfully passes the medical assistant examination administered by a certifying organization accredited by either the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute. Some examples of this include the CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) certification offered by the American Association of Medical Assistants, or the RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification offered by American Medical Technologists, etc.; or
- Before February 2, 2000, the candidate completed an unapproved medical assistant training program and was employed as a medical assistant after program completion and has kept their certification active and current; or
- Before February 2, 2000, the candidate was directly supervised by the same physician, physician group, or physician assistant for a minimum of 2,000 hours; or
- Completes a United States Armed Forces medical services training program.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
Salary Description
$16.38-$23.00/per hour, non-exempt
