Summary

As a Regional Sales Manager specializing in the Data Center industry, you will lead efforts to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

This role involves advising existing and potential clients as a trusted advisor, leveraging your consultative and solution-driven sales approach. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts by delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs.

Location

Remote in the Ashburn, VA area.

Compensation

Compensation includes a competitive Salary, Full Benefits, and Uncapped Commission.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, stakeholders, and executives.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions based on customer needs.
  • Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Interact with customers via email, phone, online presentations, screen-share, and in-person meetings.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Stay updated by participating in educational opportunities and professional organizations.
  • Enhance the department's reputation by exploring opportunities to add value.
  • Keep current clients satisfied with exceptional daily service.
  • Liaise between customers and internal teams.

Education, Skills, and Experience

  • Experience in the Data Center Industry or a related field.
  • Proven track record of generating and closing new business.
  • Ability to manage and grow existing relationships.
  • Growth-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, Salesforce, and help desk software.
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and influence skills at all organizational levels, including executive and C-level.
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
