Job Description

COMPANY: LOCATION: TITLE: HOURS: DUTIES: TRAVEL: REQUIREMENTS: #LI-DNI Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. 168 Third Avenue, Waltham, MA 02541 Developer III Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm • Analysis, development, testing and deployment of APIs, Application Integrations, EDI integrations using WebMethods (Software AG’s) middleware platform and also provide production support. • Documenting business processes, integrations, systems monitoring, troubleshooting and diagnose issues. • Understand business systems, data flows, application integration points and work with WebMethods team implementing process improvement activities that required for current WebMethods platform. Reports to company headquarters in Waltham, MA. Can work remotely or telecommute. MINIMUM Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study. MINIMUM Experience Requirement: 5 years of experience as a Project Lead, Technology Architect, IT Consultant, or a related occupation. Required knowledge or experience with: • WebMethods service development, analysis and debugging/fix, diagnose, and support Integration Interfaces and EDI integrations; • Using WebMethods tools and technologies, including Integration Server, Broker, UM, MWS, Trading Networks, WM Deployer, Dynamic Server Pages (DSP) and Java Services; • Oracle and SQL Server databases, and PL/SQL and SQL; • Developing WebMethods flow/Java services using various types of integration architectures and adapters including SAP, JDBC, MQ, EntireX and AS400; • Experience in developing APIs, SOAP and REST based services using WebMethods integration technologies; • IS log analysis, heap dump analysis, TN console monitoring, MWS & Server log monitoring/analysis; • Performing administration tasks including configuration updates, patching, and backup; and • DevOps practices, including automation, configuration management, and release management.
