Responsibilities

    • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
    • Develop, manage, and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines.
    • Administer and support cloud environments on Azure and/or AWS.
    • Perform Linux and Windows system administration tasks.
    • Ensure compliance with Department of Defense security requirements.
    • Apply DISA STIG (Secure Technical Implementation Guides) where necessary.
    • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure.
    • Support Kubernetes deployments and administration.
    • Implement and manage cloud networking solutions.
    • Build scalable digital engineering environments.
    • Design and deploy software-defined network solutions that ensure optimal performance and security in the cloud environment.
    • Maintain and enhance the virtual network infrastructure to support cloud operations.
    • Implement and manage configuration management solutions to automate repetitive tasks and improve system reliability.
    • Use AWS CodeBuild and other CI/CD tools to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Qualifications
    • Passion for all things Cloud and DevOps
    • Bachelors degree (or higher) in related field
    • Demonstrable expertise in cloud engineering, network engineering, and modern Devops practices
    • Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormation, and AWS CodeBuild.
    • Strong knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
    • Experience with network security tools and firewalls, particularly Palo Alto Networks products.
    • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VLans, hypervisors, etc.)
    • Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN) principles and solutions.
    • Ability to solve problems by writing complex scripts in Python, powershell, or bash.
    • Practical experience with Containerization tools like docker and kubernetes
    • Currently possesses or able to quickly acquire a Secret Clearance or higher.
