  • Project Support: Provide accurate quotations, timelines, and project estimates for sales teams to deliver to customers.
  • Manufacturing Partner Collaboration: Build relationships with key manufacturer partners to enhance product understanding and develop modifications to meet customer technology needs.
  • Technical Support: Solve technical problems for systems in the field and support new customer projects through start-up and commissioning.
  • Training and Development: Organize, coordinate, and conduct electrification training sessions for account managers and sales teams.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as a technical sales asset by joining account managers on customer visits and developing relationships with customers, manufacturer partners, and consultants.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in project management tasks such as procurement, shipping, inventory management, and record-keeping to ensure timely delivery.
  • ISO 9001 Compliance: Support and participate in the organization’s continual improvement program, conforming to ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education & Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering required.
  • Certified Fluid Power Specialist (CFPS) certification is highly preferred.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of engineering experience, ideally in fluid power or industrial automation.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 environments is a plus.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, Sales, and senior management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work directly with customers and address technical challenges.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical specifications, reports, and legal documents.
  • Skilled in presenting technical information to diverse audiences, including clients, management, and certification authorities.
  • Competent in performing engineering calculations within your field of expertise.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to navigate unique situations with limited standardization.
  • Ability to develop and document comprehensive plans involving input from multiple teams.
