Overview of the Position: We are seeking an engineering professional to join our team at PacifiCorp, a leading company in the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying prescribed methods and standard practices in performing specific tasks within projects.

About the Job:

This is a critical role that requires the ability to work cross-functionally, understand requirements, present alternatives, and recommendations. As an engineer with PacifiCorp, you will develop engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, and performance assessments associated with the planning, design, licensing, construction, operation, and maintenance of the Company's generation, transmission, distribution, telecommunication, or other utility facilities/systems.

The responsibilities of this position include preparing engineering scoping documents, analyzing system designs, developing and reviewing studies, running equipment tests, and conducting site inspections. Additionally, you will determine methods and techniques for obtaining results, guide and direct associate level engineers, technicians, and drafters, and recommend alternative solutions to management.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college/university, basic knowledge and application of principles in your area of engineering specialty, and knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. You should also have proficiency with personal computers and automated tools, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

In addition to the above, you should have a minimum of two or more years of directly related experience in the applicable engineering field, demonstrated knowledge and application of principles in your area of engineering specialty, and understanding of PacifiCorp's business, policies, procedures, and practices.


Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $76,200 - $118,400 per year, plus an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 12.00% of salary. Other benefits include health care, retirement, paid time off, tuition assistance, paid short-term and long-term disability, and paid bereavement leave.
