The Behavioral Health Director of Operational Support works collaboratively with the Vice President and the agency's Service Leaders and Management to support alignment of program staff and agency support departments. They will assist in the critical planning of management and operational processes, which allow service delivery to be managed effectively, efficiently and to the highest industry standards while meeting the Mission, Vision, Values and Expectations of Open Sky Community Services.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess strong organizational, managerial, verbal, and written communication skills. The Behavioral Health Director of Operational Support must also exude confidence in analyzing complex problems and developing integrated, creative solutions.

Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the cultivation of strategic alliances between Behavioral Health Teams and other collaterals and service providers that promote the coordination of quality services of persons served jointly.
  • Maintain working knowledge of current evidence-based practices and support proper implementation of practices.
  • Participate in the Quality and Compliance Committee and oversee collaboration with Quality Departtment to maintain compliance with licensing standards.
  • Monitor and promote ongoing quality improvement including preparing for and participating in internal/external audits and reviews; develop and implement standards and corrective action plans.
  • Recommend and implement systems across the service division to ensure uniformity in staff training and service delivery while continuing to maintain a person-centered approach to care.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in social services field, required.
  • Management experience in residential services and experience working in behavioral health services, required.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple activities simultaneously, required. Experience in project management, highly desired.
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record, required.
