Major Responsibilities:

Develop database structural requirements with development team by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviewing objectives with internal teams; Evaluate current systems and provide support from an engineering perspective.

• Assist in auditing backup policies, procedures, and operations.

• Maintains database performance by identifying and resolving production problems; evaluating, integrating, and installing new releases; completing maintenance; answering user questions.

• 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL (SQL Server/Azure)

• 2 years of experience writing SQL, T-SQL, and Stored Procedures

• 2 years of experience using Python programming language for data processing, quality control, and ETL

• The ability to think outside the box to creatively solve problems

• Willingness to learn

• Ability to perform root cause analysis on external and internal processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement and answer questions

• Exceptional technical writing skills

• Ability to communicate complex data in a simple, actionable way

• Ability to visualize data in the most effective way possible for a given project

• Familiarity with data management tools

• Ability to work independently and with team members from different backgrounds

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to create documentation, test, QA and finalize projects

• Experience with source control (Git, GitHub, TFS) preferred

Experience/Qualifications:

Bachelors (4-year) degree is preferred or equivalent work experience

Minimum five years experience with SQL databases

Experienced managing multiple projects at the same time while communicating project status

Have physical and mental requirements to meet the above listed job responsibilities.

Ability to work in a hybrid environment during Eastern-US business hours, including some nights/weekends as deemed necessary by project demands.
